Downtown Park

The Monoosnoc Brook Downtown Park is a project of the Leominster Downtown Association and the Monoosnoc Brook Greenway Project. It is part of an on-going effort both groups are doing to improve the downtown area.

Plans for the new park.

Benches, birdhouses, flowering trees and engraved bricks will define the park. It will be a great spot to enjoy a piece of nature right in downtown Leominster near Friendly's and several other eateries.

The first set of bricks have finally been engraved and are in the hands of the Downtown Association! This first batch will hopefully be going in the ground this fall. There have been some exciting new developments to this park project such as brick walkways across Mechanic Street and through a parking area to meet up with the park area. This will allow for even more space for everyone's bricks. Thank you all for your patience on this project!

Buy a Brick!

You can have a brick engraved with your name or personal message installed in the Downtown Park. The engraved brick is included with a $50 family membership to the Monoosnoc Brook Greenway Project (MBGP) and the Nashua River Watershed Association (NRWA) (two-for-one!).
